John “Jay” Kaminsky

John “Jay” Kaminsky, 60, of Baldwin, New York and formerly of Grindstone, Pa., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2002 at his residence. He was born on March 2, 1942 son of the late John and Stella Kaminsky of Grindstone, Pa.

Mr. Kaminsky was a 1960 graduate of Redstone High School and also a graduate of New York City College.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Fishman Kaminsky; three children John Kaminsky of Manhattan, N.Y., Lisa and Michael Kaminsky, both at home; two brothers Bernie “Budge” Kaminsky of Grindstone, Gregory Kaminsky of Wexford; one sister Christina Howarth of Cleveland, Ohio; numerous aunts, uncles and beloved nieces and nephews.

Jay dearly loved his family, friends, polkas, Grindstone and all of the good times. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services and interment were held in Calverton National Cemetery, Long Island, New York.
