Steve J. Kropilak, of Tampa, Florida, died Monday, December 30, 2002 in University Hospital, Tampa. He was born in Whitney, Pa., and attended St. Procopius School and graduated from Redstone High School. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 20 years.

He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Stephen Kropilak and a sister Margaret McKulka.

He is survived by his wife Eleanor; a son Stephen of Massachusetts and the following brother and sisters John (Jo) Kropilak, Agnes Zuchelkowski, Mrs. Patrick (Josephine) Ozanich of Uniontown and sister Mary Ann Kropilak VSC of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Timothy Church, Tampa, Florida on Thursday, January 2, 2003.
