Bruce S. Herrington, 75, of Rector, Pa. formerly of Brownsville, Pa., died Saturday, June 29, 2002, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He was born July 1, 1926, in Brownsville, Pa., the son of the late Clyde and Carrie Allison Herrington.

Prior to his retirement in 1993 he had been employed as a sales rep for Williams & Co. in Pittsburgh for 39 years.

He was a member of New Hope Assembly of God Church, Gideon’s International and was a Veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Dorthy Deven Herrington; a daughter, Jane Allison Herrington of Greensburg, Pa.; a son B. Wakefield Herrington of Ligonier, Pa. and a step-daughter Deborah A. Dickinson of Washington, Pa.

Friends will be received in the J. PAUL MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 144 East Main Street, Ligonier, Pa. today from 5 to 8 p.m.

Services will be held in the Funeral Chapel Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jack R. Street officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Rector, Pa.
