State police said someone broke the left rear window of a truck owned by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority along First Street in Footedale Saturday between midnight and 9 a.m.

Car damaged
Marvin George, 56, of Normalville told state police that someone smashed the rear window and damaged the left taillight of his vehicle along White Road sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday and 8:50 a.m. Sunday.

Windows smashed
According to state police, the windows of a motor home owned by the Gospel Rays Choir of Mount Pleasant were smashed along Rydel Road sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday and 9:20 a.m. Sunday.

Two-car accident
State police said a vehicle operated by Eli Davis, 20, of Swanton, Md., and Carl Nicholson Jr., 38, of Mill Run were involved in an accident one mile north of south Route 381 on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Davis and Nicholson sustained minor injuries.

Man accosted
Terry Newland of Uniontown told state police he was assaulted by four men at the Village of Searights Sunday at 9:35 p.m. Police say charges are pending in the incident.

False report
According to state police, someone provided them with false information about an incident of domestic violence, thereby wrongly implicating Judy Hardy of Dunbar in a crime on Oct. 29, 2002. Police say charges are pending in the incident.

Man charged
State police said Guy Barr of Point Marion was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at the Masontown Bridge Thursday at 2:22 a.m. Charges were filed with District Justice Lee Watson.

Cary Rush, 85, of Waynesburg told state police someone stole a Phillips Magnavox television from his Waterdale Road home on June 24 between 9:30 and 11 a.m.

Man charged
According to state police during the execution of an arrest warrant, Timothy Cole, 20, was allegedly found to be in possession of a marijuana pipe at his residence along Shady Lane, Greene County, on June 10 at 11:35 a.m. Charges were filed with District Justice Neil Canan.

Michael Rumble, 35, of Greensboro told state police someone broke the window of several disabled vehicles parked at the Vehicle Storage Yard along Rosedale Street on June 20 between 4 and 8 p.m.

CDs stolen
State police said someone stole several compact discs from a car belonging to Amanda Wilson, 26, of Clarksville at her East Street residence June 23 between 2 and 11:30 a.m.

According to state police, someone attempted to enter the Quality Undercar/Emanuel Auto Body in Franklin Township between June 22 and 24 from noon to 8 a.m.

State police said someone driving a 1993 Plymouth Sundance struck a car owned by Christina Cole, 41, of New Geneva while the vehicle was unattended Wednesday at 2:16 a.m.

Men charged
State police said Joshua and John Foster of Morgantown, W.Va., were cited for allegedly stealing gasoline from the I-79 Exxon and for allegedly stealing the car they were driving from South Strabane Township Tuesday at 10:45 p.m. The accused were taken into custody and charged by the West Virginia State Police.

According to state police, someone vandalized an automated teller machine inside the Sheetz store along 800 Main St. on Thursday at 12:45 a.m.

The Grindstone Volunteer Fire Department told state police on Wednesday that someone stole two chain saws sometime last month.

L and M Lignos Enterprise told state police that someone stole three handheld radios and other equipment from the business’ trailer near Route 40 sometime between 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 5:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Bombing reported
Larry Haase, 55, and Flora Haase, 43, of Stahlstown told state police that someone placed an explosive device at the rear of their residence that caused significant damage to the home Thursday between 3:30 and 4 a.m. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms assisted and determined the device to be a class B explosive. Suspects have been identified in the case, state police said.

State police said someone damaged a car belonging to Lynn Algeris of Greensburg with a shopping cart at a Shop ‘n Save in Hempfield Township sometime on Monday.
