Dolores Mae Kennedy Wilson, 70, of Brownsville, Pa., died Thursday, July 4, 2002. She was born March 9, 1932, in Brownsville, Pa., daughter of Edgar Kennedy and Helen Katherine Metz Kennedy.

Dolores was a lifetime member of West Brownsville American Legion Post 940 Auxiliary.

Her husband, Allen Thomas “Hack” Wilson Jr., died October 9, 1991.

Also deceased are four brothers, Edward, Charles, Thomas and Samuel Kennedy, and her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Sandra Simon and friend William Drake, Susan and her husband Kellen Hodge, Thomas Wilson and his wife Marian, and Linda and her husband Mark Miller, all of West Brownsville, Pa.; two brothers: Joseph Kennedy of Monaca, Pa., and Robert Kennedy of West Newton, Pa.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and her special friend, Oliver Crawford.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, July 7, until 2 p.m.

Services will be held Sunday, July 7, at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery, West Pike Run Township.
