Peter P. Shultz Jr., age 42, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at his residence of an apparent heart attack. He was born December 12, 1959, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Peter moved to Mount Vernon in 1995 from East Liverpool, Ohio.

He was employed at F. T. Precision in Fredericktown, Ohio.

Surviving are his parents, Peter P. Shultz Sr. and Mary Shultz of Crystal Works, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; his wife, Judy Darnell Shultz, two daughters, Mandy Shultz and Amber Shultz, and granddaughter, Brista Shultz, all at home; and three sisters: Brenda Newman of Smithfield, Pa., Tammy Barton of Shoaf, Pa., and Joann Ables of Point Marion, Pa.

Friends may call at the DOWDS-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio, on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 9, at 2 p.m.

Burial will follow in Mound View Cemetery.
