Shoaf-Spak
Flatwoods Baptist Church was the setting for the marriage of Linda Spak of Masontown and Brad Michael Shoaf of Vanderbilt. Pastor Melvin Wingrove and Pastor Gary Alberding officiated the exchange of vows on Sept. 22.
The bride is the daughter of Darlene Spak of Masontown and the late Carl A. Spak. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Shoaf of Vanderbilt.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her brother, Carl A. Spak Jr.
Alycia Shoaf, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rita Malesky, sister of the bride; Aimee Shoaf, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; Lori Paige and Shawna Geary. Renee Martin was flower girl.
Rance Maruszewski was best man. Groomsmen were Barry Shoaf, Brian Shoaf, brothers of the bridegroom; Daniel Paige, cousin of the bridegroom; and Robert Geary. Kameron Shoaf, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Uniontown Jewish Community Center.
The couple honeymooned in Lancaster. They reside in Star Junction.
The bride graduated from Albert Gallatin Area High School and the Pennsylvania State University.
She is employed with Fayette Resources Inc. and Alliance Health Wraparound Services.
The bridegroom graduated from Frazier High School and Westmoreland County Community College.
He is employed with Twin Trees Inc. and Fayette County ARC.
