Jessie Pearle Doolittle Collier, 94, of Uniontown, Pa., died Saturday, July 6, 2002, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born June 28, 1908, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of J. Cunningham Doolittle and Maude Rumble Doolittle.

Mrs. Collier was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Smithfield, Pa., and the Victory Sunday School Class.

Her husband, James M. Collier, sisters and brothers, Elsie Miller, Denzel Doolittle, Obaline Reese, Raymond Doolittle, Mildred Brownfield, and parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter, Sandra and husband, Alan Detweiler, and a granddaughter, Amy Detweiler, all of Uniontown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive Friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today, July 8, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Jay Hurley officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.

Visitation was also held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
