Anna Marie Caporella, 79, of Perryopolis, Pa., died Monday, July 8, 2002 at 12:50 a.m. in Mount Saint Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa. She was born April 1, 1923 in Dearth, Pa., daughter of the late Emidio and Domenica Orsini Antonini.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John A. Caporella on November 15, 1991.

Anna was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Altar Society and Sons of Italy, all of Perryopolis.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. Filak and husband Jack of Perryopolis, Pa.; three grandchildren John Filak and wife Michele of Jeanette, Brent Filak and wife Laura of Belle Vernon, Miss Angela Filak of Perryopolis; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Philomena Stiffy of Warren, Ohio, Mrs. Gia Fields of Perryopolis, Pa., Mrs. Corinda Wasko of West Newton, Pa., Mrs. Ida Rock of Niles, Ohio; one brother Fiorello Antonini and wife Alma of Dawson, Pa.

Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa. today from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa. with Rev. Father John T. Eucker as Celebrant and Rev. Father James F. Petrovsky as Co-Celebrant.

Interment in St. Johns Cemetery.

A Wake Service will be held Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
