Eleanor L. Dupej, age 77, of Uniontown, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2002. She was born December 28, 1924, in Connellsville, the daughter of the late John and Mary Luczak Christobek. She was preceded in death in 1991 by her husband, Stephen A. Dupej.

Eleanor was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Janet Tennille of Washington, D.C., and Joyce Matsko and her husband, Joseph E., of Beaver, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Joey, Mark, and Eric Matsko.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received Thursday, July 11, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson St., Uniontown, at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2002, with the Rev. William J. Kiel as celebrant and the Rev. James F. Petrovsky as con-celebrant. Interment will be private. The prayer service time will be announced.
