Quilt guild to meet Water interruption set

Customers of The North Fayette County Municipal Authority in Perryopolis will have an interruption in their public water service on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This will permit workers to relocate a fire hydrant and to repair a fire hydrant and install additional main line valving.

Customers should store water prior to 8 a.m. for use during the interruption period. Discolored and cloudy water will occur during the day on Wednesday and probably into Thursday.

The municipal authority asks that customers not do any laundry on Wednesday if possible and to check their tap water before doing any laundry on Thursday. Typically letting the tap water run for a few minutes before using will eliminate the discolored water.
