Elizabeth Jane Elwell Brumley, age 72, of New Salem, Pa., passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2002, in Life Care Center, Wilkinsburg, Pa. She was born November 26, 1929, in Pricedale, Pa., daughter of Joseph Elwell and Celina Hess Elwell.

She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Hayward Earl Brumley, four sisters and two brothers, Dorothy Jean Daumit, Ann Gertrude Reconnu, Emma Mae Elwell, Mary Louise Elwell, Thomas Joseph Elwell, Joseph Hess Elwell, and her parents.

She is survived by five sons: Alan Brumley and his wife, Dianna, and Jerry Brumley and his wife, Cindy, all of New Salem, Pa., Kenny Brumley and his fiancee, Christina, of Winchester, Virginia, Richard Brumley and his wife, Cheryl, of Smithfield, Pa., and Mark Brumley and his wife, Nikki, of Blainesburg, Pa.; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters: James Martin Elwell of Buena Vista, Pa., Allen Dale Elwell and his wife, Gloria, of Dawson, Pa., Patricia Alice Thorpe and her husband, Olin, of Maryland, and Celina Ruth Gardner and her husband, Jack, of Gillespie, Pa.

Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., today after 7 p.m., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, July 13, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Richard Miller officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa.
