Homer Finley King
Homer Finley King, 74, of Churchville, Maryland, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2002, at his home. He was born March 23, 1928, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Homer King and Gladys Brown King.
He was a Mathematician for the Civil Service at Aberdeen Proving Ground and a Veteran of the United States Army.
His parents, a son, Randall Scott King, a grandson, Clint McCoy, and a brother, Samuel King preceded him in death.
He is survived by his spouse of 50 years, Elaine Dennick King; two sons: Homer Finley King III and Kevin Warren King both of Salisbury, Maryland; a daughter, Leslie McCoy of Richmond, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers and sisters: Dr. Robert King of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Mary Lou Kargl of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Benjamin King of Forest Hills, Maryland, William King of Uniontown, Pa., and Dorothy Ann Esparza of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 15, at 11 a.m. in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., with Dr. John K. Sharp officiating.
Interment will follow in Salem View Cemetery, New Salem, Pa.
