Advisory issued PennDOT District 12 announces that Route 119 in Dunbar Township will have a single-lane restriction in place this week. The right lane closure will be in place from Richard Chevrolet to Oglevee Lane. Traffic will flow in the left lane.
The dates of the restriction are as follows:
– Route 119 northbound in Dunbar Township will have a single-lane restriction in place Monday to Wednesday. The right lane will be closed.
– Route 119 southbound in Dunbar Township will have a single-lane restriction in place Wednesday to Friday. The right lane will be closed.
During this time, crews will mill the road surface and place a new layer of pavement.
Classes scheduled
The Uniontown Area YMCA will begin a new series of classes starting Monday.
All aquatic classes for those 6 months old to adult will begin throughout the week. Depending on the class, sessions are available one or two days a week. This refers to all progressive swim classes and the water walking/aquarobics. Call the YMCA front desk for more information.
Gymnastic classes are offered Monday mornings. Aerobics classes are offered in the morning and evenings. All aerobics classes have unlimited attendance.
Youth day camp is offered weekly and is open to all youths in the area. Children may be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and picked up as late as 5:30 p.m. Fees are offered for YMCA members and non-members.
Campers are provided with a breakfast and lunch each day. The YMCA’s trained college-age staff plans the activities at the five camps operating throughout the county.
Heart and Desire Basketball Camp will be conducted July 22-26 for boys and girls in grades 1 through 12.
Camp will be under the supervision of Rob Kezmarsky, the head basketball coach of the Uniontown Red Raiders.

Workshop planned
WASHINGTON – A first-time homebuyers workshop will be held Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Church of the Covenant in Washington.
Community Action Southwest is sponsoring the workshop, which will offer information on local resources available to first-time homebuyers. Refreshments will be served.
