WALLEYE STOCKINGS
Emil J. Svetahor, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission southwest region manager announced that several area lakes and streams were stocked with 1-2-inch walleye finglerlings in June.
In Fayette County, the Youghiogheny River Lake received 3,000 finglerlings, Green Lick Lake received 2,000 and the Monongahela River in Fayette and Greene counties received 1,750.
Somerset County planting included 9,000 at Quemahoning Reservoir, 6,750 at High Point Lake and 5,050 at Lake Somerset.
Other stocking in the region included 12,500 at Connoquenessing Creek in Butler County; 1,500 at Colver Reservoir in Cambria County and 7,200 at Yellow Creek Lake in Indiana County.
