Sisler-Ferek
Kelli Ann Ferek of Dover, Pa., and Shawn Sisler of Garrett County, Md., were united in marriage on May 25. Pastor Mark Lawson officiated the service in the gazebo of the Historic Stonehouse Restaurant and Inn, Farmington.
The bride is the daughter of Lawrence and Frances Ferek of Grant Street, New Salem. The bridegroom is the son of Otis and June Sisler of White Rock Road, Friendsville, Md.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white silk shantung gown with full skirt flowing into a cathedral-length train trimmed in Battenburg lace and adorned with inserts of lattice, lace, pearls and white sequins. Her veil of illusion as accentuated with pearls.
Krista Bendik, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Flower girl was Katie Ginelsburger, niece of the bridegroom.
Donald Morgan was best man.
A reception was also held at the Stonehouse Restaurant and Inn.
The bride graduated from Uniontown Area High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from Penn State University. She is an application development engineer with DSM Engineering and a baton instructor at New Line Revue in Lilitz.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Northern Garrett High School, Md., and earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science at the University of Maryland. He is a senior member of the technical staff at AT & T in Columbia, Md. He is also an officer with the U.S. Navy Reserves.
The couple honeymooned at Pensacola, Fla., and Las Vegas, Nev.
They are living in Dover, Pa.
