Hobert D. Weimer
Hobert D. “Jake” Weimer, 85, of Connellsville, Pa., formerly of Waltersburg, Pa., passed away Sunday, July 14, 2002, in Harmon House, Mount Pleasant, Pa. He was born January 21, 1917, in White, Pa., son of Randall Weimer and Pearl Ritenour Weimer Laws.
Prior to his retirement he was a Steelworker at the Clairton Works of United States Steel Corporation.
He was a member of Connellsville Church of God on Breakneck Avenue.
A brother, Earl Weimer, an infant sister, Florence Weimer, and his parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Ramage Weimer; four sons: Elmer Weimer in Florida, George Weimer in Tennessee, Hobert Weimer of Uniontown, Pa., and Robin Weimer in Michigan; three daughters: Betty Smith of Donegal, Pa., Evelyn Bosley of Connellsville, and Minnie DeMarco in Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters: Marie Laws Ohler of Connellsville and Ferne Clark of White, Pa.; two brothers: Melvin Laws in Florida and Donald Laws of Mount Pleasant, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Arlene Ramage, and a stepson, Ronald Ramage, both of Connellsville.
Friends will be received at the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Service will be held Wednesday, July 17, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kay Kurtz officiating.
Committal and interment will follow at Normalville Cemetery.
