Joseph A. Cammarata, 50, of First Street, Connellsville, Pa., formerly of Scottdale died Monday afternoon July 15, 2002 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. Joseph was an active member and employed as a steward for the past five years for the Italian Independent Social Club of Connellsville. He was a veteran of the Armed Forces, serving with the U.S. Army and was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

In addition to his mother Anna B. Koneiq Cammarata of Scottdale, he is survived by his daughter Joell Cammarata of Scottdale; two brothers Alfred Argiro and his wife Dee of Scottdale and Joseph Argiro and his wife Arlene of Connellsville; a sister Terri Fretts and her husband Ralph of Scottdale and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Pa. and will be announced when completed.
