Truck stolen

State police said a red 1992 Ford Ranger owned by Theodore D. Broadwater, 71, of East Millsboro was stolen at 12:50 p.m. July 10 from Brashear Avenue and Green Street in Hiller.

Cumberland Twp.

Charges filed

State police in Waynesburg said Thomas Earl Martin, 24, of Nemacolin was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Cross Street at Route 88 at 2:43 a.m. Sunday. A chemical breath test showed his blood-alcohol content was .129 percent, police said.

While he was being arrested, his passenger, Kimberly Renee Areford, 23, of Carmichaels was released to a relative but persisted in creating a disturbance, police said. She allegedly jumped from a moving car and began flailing her arms in the middle of Route 88, police said. She was cited for public drunkenness and placed in the Greene County Prison.

Perry Twp.

Man charged

State police charged Dennis Clark, 50, of Perryopolis with driving under the influence after he struck a guardrail along a state road near the Layton tunnel at 3 a.m. Saturday. Charges were filed at District Justice Michael Rubish’s office.

Springfield Twp.

Satellite dish stolen

State police said a 24-inch Dish Network dish bearing serial number R0032143287 was stolen from Christopher Shultz’s residence along Cavanaugh Road, Normalville, Sunday or Monday.

Perryopolis

Woman cited

State police said Karen Ann Shider, 44, of Perryopolis was cited for harassment for allegedly grabbing and pulling the hair of Cheryl Ann Lennex, 39, of Fayette City at 5:30 p.m. Monday on a township road at Route 51.

Business damaged

The front of the Depot Pizza shop was damaged Saturday or Sunday, state police said.

Georges Twp.

Man charged

State police charged Robert Churby, 20, of Uniontown with criminal mischief for allegedly destroying mailboxes owned by Donna Marie Engle, 39, Richard Lee Ohler, 36, and Ida Arlene Huseman, 64, and throwing stones at the home of Michael Miller, 25, on July 7. The victims live along the intersection of Second and Marberry streets in Continental 3. Also, a 16-year-old boy was cited for underage drinking.

South Union Twp.

Theft reported

State police said a woman entered the Eat N Park restaurant on Route 40 at 2:30 a.m. Monday, took $10 from the cashier’s desk and fled. She was white, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, with brown hair and was wearing a black tank top and white shorts.

Man cited

State police cited Aaron Lee Wilson, 24, of Uniontown for harassment for allegedly choking Nicole M. Forcina, 19, of Merrittstown during an argument July 10 along Isabella Road, Isabella. Charges were filed at District Justice Herb Mitchell Jr.’s office.

Richeyville

Man sought

Centerville police said Hilda Dray of 419 Spring St. reported that a young man outside her house Tuesday at 3 a.m. attempted to gain entry by propping a chair from her back porch near her dining room window. After she yelled at the man, he fled the scene without entering her home. Dray told police that her home was entered two weeks ago, and $200 and medication were taken.
