James Russell Linderman
James Russell Linderman, 86, of Uniontown, Pa., went home to be with his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, July 19, 2002. He was born May 16, 1916, in Ohiopyle, Pa., son of James W. Linderman and Elizabeth Pearl Burnsworth Linderman.
James was a World War II Veteran who served in the United States Army.
He also was employed for 38 years as a Mechanic with Lee Norse in Charleroi, Pa.
James was a member of Friend’s Home Church and attended Uniontown Church of The Nazarene.
James was predeceased by his parents, son, James Edward Linderman, first wife, Clara Linderman, second wife, Kathryn Linderman, two brothers, Cecil and Ralph Linderman, and a sister, Helen June Linderman.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene Dillon Kelley Linderman; a daughter, Judy and her husband Joe Seiler, Denton, Maryland; stepson, Gary Garlett and wife Twila; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; four brothers: Warren Linderman, Carl Linderman, David Linderman and Ken Linderman; and a sister, Pearl Irene Cline.
The Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Additional visitation will be held in Uniontown Church of The Nazarene, Route 857, Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday, July 23, from 10 a.m. until the Service at 11 a.m. Mr. Richard Dillon will officiate.
Interment will follow in Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery,
