Lisa White Spaw
Lisa R. White Spaw, 41, of Farmington, Pa., passed away Thursday, July 18, 2002, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., after an extended illness. She was born January 12, 1961, in Charolotin, West Virginia, daughter of the late Carl G. White Jr. and Dorothy Rollins White.
She was a devoted Wife and loving Mother to her husband, Lawrence Spaw, and children, Allen Spaw and Matthew Spaw, all at home.
In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by a brother and two sisters: Carl G. White III and wife, Jill, of Glen Dale, West Virginia, Marcia Whitaker and husband, Jeff, and Sandy Hurley and husband, Tom, all of Asheboro, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Lisa was a member of Farmington Bethel Church of The Brethren and had been employed with the National Park Service at Fort Necessity.
She was a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts at Farmington and was very active with the Farmington Boy Scouts.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF FARMINGTON, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Additional viewing will be held Monday, July 22, in Farmington Bethel Church of The Brethren from 10 a.m. until the Service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Larry Walker officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Farmington Bethel Church of The Brethren, Route 381 South, Farmington, PA 15437.
Fort Necessity Lions Club will hold Services today at 8 p.m.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
