Agnes Keener Cox, 86, of Ohio Avenue, Westover, West Virginia, who was born in Waynesburg, Pa., had been a Teacher in Mill Run, Fayette County, Pa., and later in the West Greene School District, Greene County, Pa., and graduated from Waynesburg College, Waynesburg, Pa., died Saturday, July 20, 2002, in Sundale Nursing Home, Morgantown, West Virginia. She is survived by two daughters: Jeanne Cox Sypolt and her husband, Clifford Sypolt, of Grafton, West Virginia, and Joanne Cox Nissen and her husband, Gary Nissen, of Huron, Ohio; sons: James Cox and his wife, Erma, of Clendenin, West Virginia, and Jan S. Cox of Westover, West Virginia; grandchildren: Kristin Schreck of Bossier City, Louisiana, Erik Cox of Beaumont, Texas, Andrew Sypolt of Boston, Massachusetts, Julie McKee of Portland, Oregon, and Janna Warren of Columbus, Ohio; great grandchildren: Joseph Butryn of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Sydney Cox of Beaumont, Texas; and a cousin, Helena Welch of Findlay, Ohio.

Friends may call at the William McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, West Virginia, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, July 24, until 1 p.m.
