Playford W. VanSickle
Playford W. VanSickle, 81, of Grindstone, Pa., died Sunday, July 21, 2002, in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, Pa. He was born June 22, 1921, in Chalk Hill, Pa., son of the late Henry VanSickle and Shirley Nicholson VanSickle.
He was a member of Little Redstone Presbyterian Church, Fayette City.
Surviving are his wife, Ina Guseman VanSickle; children: Linda and her husband, Rodger Ackinclose, of Grindstone, Sherman VanSickle and wife, Mary Ann, of Grindstone, and Wayne VanSickle at home; and sister, Erma Spaw of Farmington, Pa. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main Street, Fayette City, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, July 23, at 9 p.m.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
