Vallie C. Haney
Vallie C. Haney, 78, of Brownsville, Pa., died on Friday, July 19, 2002, as the result of an automobile accident in Morgantown, W.Va. She was born March 1, 1924, in Centerville Borough, Pa., a daughter of the late Daniel L. and Elizabeth A. Hardin Haney.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Everett Haney; and by a sister, Betty C. Skidds.
Miss Haney attended the Brownsville Wesleyan Methodist Church in Grindstone. Miss Haney was retired from the Eastman-Kodak Company, in Rochester, N.Y., where she had been employed for 37 years.
Miss Haney will be sadly missed by her sisters, Margaret E. Veatch of Memphis, Tenn., and R. Gail Harshman and her husband, Glenn of Lufkin, Texas; and by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the CONFER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front St., Brownsville, today from 6 to 9 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m. Funeral Services will then be conducted by her Pastor, the Rev. Edward Truitt. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
