Tools stolen

State police said someone took tools belonging to Carl’s Contracting of Confluence from a vehicle along Murphy Street between 1 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.

Accident probed

State police said Karen L. Burnsworth, 40, of Uniontown and Angela M. Pazicni, 18, of New Salem were involved in a two-vehicle accident Sunday at 8:05 p.m. at the intersection of Route 40 and New Salem Road. Police are investigating.

Bullskin Twp.

Man cited

State police said William Charles Ohler, 33, of Connellsville was cited for harassment after he allegedly struck Brenda Lee Johnson, 35, of Connellsville at 8 p.m. Monday at a residence on Polecat Hollow Road.

Uniontown

Car window broken

Joyce Doman told city police that a side window on her car was broken Tuesday while parked in the Uniontown Shopping Center lot.

Rostraver Twp.

Woman injured

State police said a Mack truck driven by David Gilbert Sr. of Valley Grove, W.Va., and a car driven by Sara McLain of Belle Vernon were involved in an accident on Interstate 70 just west of the Arnold City exit. McLain suffered a minor injury. Rostraver and West Newton fire departments also responded to the accident.

Mower found

State police said an older model blue-and-orange push lawn mower with a 2.5-horsepower Briggs & Stratton motor was found along Rear Murphy Street at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Runaway sought

State police said Kaylene Dawn Guthrie, 13, of 10 Moore Road has not been seen since she ran away from home Monday at 8 a.m. She is white, 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 115 pounds, with long blond hair that is usually pulled up. She might be in the Fairchance area, police said. Anyone with information should call police at 724-439-7111.

Police investigate

State police said an unknown motorist crashed into a tree and fled on foot along Barton Hollow Road Tuesday at 2 a.m.

South Union Twp.

Woman cited

Marlaina Long, 23, of Uniontown was cited for disorderly conduct after a disturbance in the Yum Yum Tasty Donuts lot at 4 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

Washington Twp.

Vehicles collide

State police said vehicles operated by Nathan McLure of Waynesburg and Tammy Coles of Jefferson crashed along Route 19 Friday at 4 p.m. Both drivers and two passengers in Coles’ vehicle were injured in the collision, police said.

Man charged

State police charged Gary A. Fox of Waynesburg with criminal mischief for allegedly slashing the tires of a vehicle belonging to Buddie Greco, also of Waynesburg, along Route 21 on Saturday.

Woman harassed

State police charged Brian Jenkins, 30, with harassment for allegedly striking Tammy Morgan, 19, of Waynesburg with a beer can along Route 21 at 1:35 p.m. July 14. Charges were filed with District Justice Neil Canan.

West Pike Run Twp.

Woman charged

Nicole Lynn Rudy, 22, of Marianna was charged Wednesday before District Justice William Pelkey with robbery, theft and possession of criminal instruments for a robbery that occurred Feb. 17 at Linda’s Market in West Pike Run Township, state police said.

Rudy was placed in the Washington County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond, police said.

Springfield Twp.

Citations issued

Mark Frye, 23, of Scottdale and Clifford Prinkey, 22, of Normalville were cited for harassment after they allegedly fought in the Normalville Volunteer Fire Department’s front driveway at 5 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Car damaged

Clarence Crawford of Mather told state police a vehicle struck his station wagon outside his Eighth Street residence Saturday between 12:30 and 9:30 a.m.

Woman threatened

Dawn White, 33, of Waynesburg told state police a girl known to her made a threatening phone call to her residence Friday between 1:15 and 1:30 a.m.

Perry Twp.

Hit-and-run reported

Someone struck a carport at the intersection of Locust and Buchannon roads in Mount Morris Saturday between 1:30 and 7 a.m. and then fled the scene, police said.

Waynesburg

Checks forged

According to state police, Donna Lee Logsdon of Waynesburg was arraigned before District Justice Lee Watson on charges that she stole two checks from Donna M. Presock, also of Waynesburg.

Logsdon allegedly forged the victim’s signature and then used the checks to play bingo at the Jefferson and Clarksville volunteer fire departments between 1 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Saturday, police said.
