Chipps-Bobish
Jamie Leigh Bobish of Uniontown and James Lee Chipps of Tom Cat Hollow, Smithfield, were united in marriage on June 15. The Rev. Don Walls heard the exchange of vows in the gazebo at the Historic Stone House Inn, Farmington.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Arlene Swaney of Uniontown and the late Larry and JoAnna Bobish. The bridegroom is the son of Bonnie Short of McClellandtown and Dennis Chipps of Smithfield.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Jason R. Delara. She wore an Italian matte white satin gown with detailed-banded waist and full skirt with chapel-length train. A headpiece held a veil of illusion.
Marissa Ann Cellurale, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor.
Dennis E. Chipps, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
A reception was held in the Peccon Room at the Stone House Inn.
The bride graduated from Uniontown Area High School and is employed as a teacher’s aide with Intermediate Unit 1.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and is a contractor and installer for Faris Carpets.
The couple honeymooned at Ocean City, Md.
They are residing in Uniontown.
