John William Lowden
John William Lowden, 72, of West Leisenring, Pa., died Monday, July 22, 2002, at home. He was born October 9, 1929, in West Leisenring, Pa., son of William Lowden and Sadie Rhodeheaver Lowden.
John was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired Machine Operator from Ross Manufacturing Company in Cleveland, Ohio.
His wife, Emma Mardell Pletcher Lowden, sisters and brother, Dorothy Pletcher, Holbert Lowden, Delores Bukovan, and parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son, J. L. Lowden of Ohio; sister, Rosella Tinkey of McDonald, Pa.; stepsons: Terry Kimmel and David Kerr; one grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be conducted Wednesday, July 31, at 1 p.m. at Laurel Hill Memorial Cemetery with Pastor William E. Lawson officiating. PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
