Wilbert N. Brooks
Wilbert N. Brooks, 30, of Connellsville, Pa., died Saturday, July 27, 2002, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born October 24, 1971, in Connellsville, Pa., son of Calvin J. and Susie Christison Brooks of Connellsville.
Wilbert was a graduate of Connellsville High School and was employed as a Truck Driver for Pleasant Trucking of Connellsville.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Connellsville.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Prinkey Brooks, and his maternal grandparents, Anna and Neal Christison.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Karen Deak Brooks, and their puppy, Suzie; one brother, James Brooks of Connellsville; his paternal grandfather, Wilbert Brooks of Vanderbilt, Pa.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Sophie Cross of Uniontown, Pa.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held Wednesday, July 31, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Terry Upton officiating.
Interment will follow in Normalville Cemetery.
