Clarellen Rible Erving, 72 years, of Point Marion, Pa., died Thursday, July 25, 2002, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born December 18, 1929, in West Belmar, New Jersey, daughter of Clarence “Bus” Rible and Madeleine Allgor Rible.

One nephew, Louis E. Rudolph Jr., her brother, Thomas A. Rible, and parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Robert J. Erving, Yarmouth, Maine; four grandchildren: Robert, Elizabeth, Dennis and Joseph; one sister, Madeleine Rudolph and her husband, Louis, Point Marion; three nephews and their wives: Thomas and Brenda Rudolph and their daughters, Kaitlin Rudolph and Alexandra Rudolph, of Point Marion with whom she made her home and their son, Ted Kell, Uniontown, Pa., Michael and Margie Rudolph and their children, Michael Jr. and Emily, Greensboro, Pa., and Mark and Jodi Rudolph, Long Branch, New Jersey; one niece, Dr. Lisa Rudolph-Watson and her husband, Benjamin Watson, Thomasville, Georgia; and her good friend, Ann Dick, Point Marion.

Friends will be received in the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, 15 Main Street, Point Marion, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Services will be held at 8:30 p.m. with Rev. R. Scott Teets officiating.

Interment will be private for the family.
