1 min read

Jason John Krepps, 25, of 43 Clark St., Uniontown, was ordered held for court on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment that were filed by city police in connection with a July 22 domestic violence incident involving his wife at their home. District Justice Mark Blair ordered Krepps held for court on the charges and remanded him to the Fayette County Prison where he is being held in lieu of a $50,000 percentage bond.

Police were dispatched to the Krepps’ residence at 11:50 p.m. when the defendant’s wife Jeanine Krepps reported that her husband punched her in the head and face. He then allegedly retrieved a knife with an 8-inch blade from the kitchen and poked her in the right eye with the butt end of the knife. He then allegedly held the blade to her neck, threatened to kill her and fled the home.

Officer Donald Gmitter then left the residence to retrieve a camera from the station. When he returned, Jeanine told him that that Jason had returned. While waiting for back up officers to arrive, the woman told the officer that her husband stabbed her in the arm with a penknife.
