Mary Korelko McGalla, 92, a lifelong resident of Oliver One, Pa., died peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2002, in Hileman Personal Care Home, Uniontown, Pa. She was born on July 19, 1910, in Oliver One, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of John Korelko and Mary Betsko Korelko Kolek.

Mary was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and St. Mary’s Altar Society. She was a caring, warm, and lovable person and will be deeply missed.

Her parents, husband, Joseph J. McGalla, an infant son, brothers, Joseph Korelko and John Korelko, stepbrothers, Andy Kolek and Steve Kolek, and sisters, Katy Oravits and Anna Mrosko, preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sisters: Margaret Mehota of Masontown, Pa., and Helen Mrosko of Dearborn, Michigan; stepsisters: Sue Duranko and Ann Kolek both of Phillips, Pa., Margaret Podloger of Uniontown, Pa., and Kay Anastasia of Cleveland, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends and caretakers, Kathy and Ron Conchilla of Lemont Furnace and Josephine Conchilla of Oliver One, Pa.

Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, July 31 until 9:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, at 10 a.m. with Fr. Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Mary (Nativity) Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.

Parish Rosary will be held today at 2 p.m.

St. Mary’s Altar Rosary Society will recite the Rosary today at 3 p.m.

St. Mary’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary this evening at 7:30 p.m.
