Andrew J. Stoker
Andrew J. “Doc” Stoker, 88, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., who was born in Collier, Fayette County, Pa., graduate of the former East Huntingdon High School, World War II Veteran who served with the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant during the invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge, and retired Glassworker from L. E. Smith Glass company in Mount Pleasant, died Friday, May 31, 2002, in Scottdale Manor Rehabilitation Center, Scottdale, Pa. He is survived by two sisters: Marie Stoker Geckle of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Isabelle Stoker Graham of Tarrs, Pa.; nephew, Alvin Stoker and wife Dolores; niece, Marsha Kennel; and five great nieces.
Friends will be received at the Eugene G. Saloom Funeral Home Inc., 730 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, June 3, until 9:30 a.m.
