Berry-Polando
United in marriage on Sept. 29 were Mia Polando of Perryopolis and Robert Berry of Ballston Lake, N.Y. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. William Spacek at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
Parents of the bride are Kathleen Harris of Perryopolis and Martin Polando of Uniontown. She is the granddaughter of the late Aurora and Benjamin Polando of Keisterville and Frank and Pauline Gaspar of Upper Middletown.
The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Barbara Berry of Ballston Lake, N.Y.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father.
Christa Stolarik was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sherry Secrest, Michelle Miller, Stacey Bednar, Kari Kifer, Jessica Leone and Kristy Cavrak. Junior bridesmaid was Jessica Desvarro, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Jennifer Polando, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Christopher Berry, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Steve Berry, Frank Berry; Martin Polando Jr., brother of the bride; James Gaspar, uncle of the bride; Michael Feno, Bradley Barcher, Thomas Davidson, Matthew Miles and R.J. Berry Jr. Ring bearer was Edmund Berry, nephew of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at the Great Room at Historic Savage Mill.
The bride graduated in 1994 from Frazier High School and is a 1998 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a project manager for System Automation Corp.
The bridegroom is a 1988 graduate of Shenandoah High School and a 1992 graduate of Sienna College. He earned a master of business administration degree from the College of St. Rose. He is an oracle financial consultant with Boss Corp.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba.
They reside at 10310 Winstead Court, Woodstock, Md.
