The bride-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 2000 graduate of Penn State, University Park. Her fiance is the son of Fred and Debra Linton of Kirkwood. He is a 1994 graduate of Solanco Senior High School and is a 1999 graduate of Penn State University.

They both earned degrees in dairy and animal science and are both employed at Clark Farms in Hustontown.
