Carl W. Ritchie

Carl W. Ritchie, 92, a lifelong resident of Scottdale, Pa., former owner-operator of the Clover Farm Store in Uniontown, Pa., and District Manager of the former American Stores in the DuBois, Pa., area, who had been employed as a Clerk at Brilhart Hardware in Scottdale and at the former Scottdale Hardware, and graduated from the former East Huntingdon High School, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, in H. C. Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy Smith Ritchie; daughters: Sandra and husband, John Solesky, and Carol and husband, Howard Thompson, all of Scottdale; grandchildren: Leann and husband, Joey Steban, of Scottdale and Christopher Solesky of Ligonier, Pa.; several nieces and nephews. Carl was the last remaining member of his immediate family.

Family and Friends will be received in the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring Street, Scottdale, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, June 4, until 11 a.m.
