Audrey L. Simon, 74, of Centerville, Pa., died Monday, June 3, 2002 in the Washington Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born on October 29, 1927 in Centerville, Pa., the daughter of the late Alfred and Vista Porter Hess.

She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Geraldine Lancaster Hess.

Mrs. Simon was a graduate of the Centerville High School Class of 1946 and was a member of Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post 705 Ladies Auxiliary of Centerville.

She had been a homemaker.

On January 1, 1948 she married Tony Simon who survives.

Also surviving is one daughter, Linda McCullough and her husband Robert of Centerville; one son David Simon also of Centerville; one sister Carole Scott of Centerville and two grandsons, Jeff McCullough and Jason Simon.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, Rt. 40 Beallsville, Pa., where Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m on Thursday, June 6, 2002 with Rev. Edward S. Litavec officiating.

Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery.
