Ernest J. Scerba, 50, of New Salem, Pa., passed away suddenly Monday, June 3, 2002 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born July 2, 1951 in Uniontown, Pa., son of Angela Pala Scerba of Wilmington, DE and the late Emil J. Scerba.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Janet Kostelnik Scerba; a daughter Emily N. Scerba, a student at Bethany College and a son, Jeffrey W. Scerba at home; a brother David Scerba and his wife Andrea of Wilmington, DE.

Ernie was a devoted son, husband, father and brother, who will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa.
