Tires slashed
Tires on three vehicles parked on Wilson Avenue were found slashed early Tuesday morning. City police said Otho T. Martin, John Lape and Phillip Cleavenger own the vehicles.

Five people cited
City police cited five residents following an 11:20 p.m. Monday incident on Millview Street. Terri Thomas, 30, of 22 Millview St. told police that Clemmon Thomas, 40, of 34 Carson St. was chasing William Howard Thomas, 43, with a ball bat.
Police cited Terri Thomas, William Thomas and Clemmon Thomas with disorderly conduct. Jonie Vernon Hall, 21, of 24 Millview St. was cited for harassment and criminal mischief and Bruce Anthony Dice, 32, of 37 Stewart Ave. for harassment, police said.

Vehicles spray-painted
City police said Tom Whitehead of 34 Devan Ave. discovered blue spray paint on three vehicles he owns Monday at 6:26 a.m.

Man assaulted
City police were dispatched to Uniontown Hospital at 10:52 p.m. Monday when Robert Lee, 53, of 48 Walnut St. said he was assaulted by at least two men while he was walking along Gallatin Avenue behind James Vending.

Couple arrested
State police in Waynesburg arrested Shawn Bernard Black, 26, and Tina Marie Stonesifer, 24, a husband and wife from Mather, on charges of simple assault, harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after they were fighting on Eighth Street in Mather at 2:35 a.m. Saturday.

State police in Uniontown said Albert Ray Daugherty, 22, of Republic was cited for harassment for allegedly placing his hand around the neck of Margaret Grace Carr, 28, of Uniontown and pushing her against a wall in Searights Village Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

Table, chairs stolen
State police in Belle Vernon are investigating the theft of a table and chairs owned by Renea Sue Capella of Vanderbilt. The theft occurred Friday at the Dawson Days Festival.

Harassment charged
Gregory Reynolds Sr. of Fairchance was cited for harassment for allegedly grabbing Jonathan Shaw, 21, of Brownsville through the window of his vehicle Sunday at 11 p.m. at a Route 40 restaurant, state police in Uniontown said.

Hit-and-run collision
State police in Uniontown said an unknown dark-colored truck with a Florida license plate that was towing a boat struck a car owned by Kerry R. Harvey of New Salem that was parked in the Jackson Farms store lot Monday at 2:30 p.m.

PFA violation
Edward Augustine Bilek, 48, of Uniontown was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order for allegedly contacting and approaching Christine Mary Bilek, 49, of Uniontown in a lot at the intersection of Route 40 and Bennington Road on Sunday, state police in Uniontown said.

Theft attempted
The owner of White Tree Service in Waynesburg told state police in Greensburg that somebody tried to pry open toolboxes containing chain saws on two trucks that were parked in a lot west of Route 982 in Kecksburg between Friday and Monday.
Police are investigating the incident.

Man cited
Justin Geletei, 19, of West Brownsville was cited for disorderly conduct, underage drinking and public drunkenness following a 4:30 a.m. Tuesday incident in which he allegedly caused a disturbance and was carrying a can of beer in the 500 block of Fifth Avenue, state police in Belle Vernon said.

State police in Uniontown said three windows on Michael Clifford McGraw Jr.’s car were smashed on Filbert-Orient Road Sunday night.

A window on a car owned by Loretta Taylor of Uniontown was damaged overnight Sunday at a residence along Coal Lick Run Road, state police in Uniontown said.

The front window of Melinda Drake’s residence on North Gallatin Avenue was damaged early Tuesday, state police in Uniontown said.
Belle Vernon
Patrols planned
State police at Belle Vernon reported that officers will conduct two DUI patrols this month in areas with statistically high incidence of driving under the influence of alcohol in Fayette, Washington, Westmoreland and Allegheny counties. The patrols are part of the new Crash Reduction in Southwestern Pennsylvania (CRISP) program.
