Steve T. Uram, 89, of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, in the VA Health Care System H. J. Heinz III, Progressive Care Center, Fox Chapel, Pa. He was born Aug. 27, 1912, in Keisterville, Pa., a son of the late Michael and Susan (Sedlachko) Uram.

His parents and all of his brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Steve served his country during World War II with the U.S. Army, 77th Division, 305th Infantry Medical Detachment.

Friends will re received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette St., Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday until 11:30 a.m., when a blessing service will be held, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Fr. Kenneth Zaccagnini as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood.
