Lunch program set The Compuer Enhancement Summer Lunch Program is open to the community free of charge, starting June 13 at Searights Learning Center.
Youth from one to 18 years old may eat breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Youth under 3 years old must be with an adult while eating.
Also, the center will be having educational activities that include crafts, computers, board games, field trips, sport activities, etc. Children will be scheduled for activities according to age groups. Watch for the schedule. All parents must register their youth for this program, completing an emergency release form.
Registration is taking place now through June 12.
Registration time today is 2:30 to 5 p.m. and the time from Monday through Wednesday is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Volunteers are needed for this program. Adults who volunteer will earn free Kennywood amusement park ticket passes for all day rides for themselves and their youth. A date will be scheduled for Searights Kennywood Day and discount tickets are available.
