Randy Lavaun Ryan, 49, of Winston Salem, N.C., formerly of Fairchance, Pa., died Sunday, June 2, 2002, in Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem, N.C. He was born Sept. 29, 1952, in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late Clayton “Buck” Ryan.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Ryan in 1994.

Surviving are his mother, Janet Swaney Goodwin and her husband, Roy of Fairchance, Pa.; two children, Todd Ryan and Jennifer Ryan, both of Mt. Airy, N.C.; one sister, Rhonda Finn and her husband, Mick of Morgantown, W.Va.; and six grandchildren.

Randy was a graduate of Fairchance Georges High School, Class of 1970.

The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church St., Fairchance, P., today from 2 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Rory Ruder officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
