Richard Regis Sunny
Richard Regis Sunny, age 72, of Pittsburgh, Pa., and formerly of Brownsville, Pa., died Friday, June 7, 2002, in Forbes Hospice Care, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born on March 9, 1930, in Brownsville, Pa., son of John Sunny and Juliana Beras Sunny.
His wife, Blanche Rioli Sunny, brother, John Sunny, sisters, Auga Sheppelman, Irene Draheim, Mary Ann Williams, and parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by three sons: Richard A. Sunny, Mount Olive, New Jersey, R. Michael Sunny, Pittsburgh, Pa., Valen R. Sunny, Charlotte, North Carolina; two grandchildren: Tiffany Sunny and Brandon Sunny; seven brothers and sisters: Rose Kelly, Grindstone, Pa., Eleanor Black, Columbus, Ohio, Sylvia Lester and Robert Sunny both of Brownsville, Pa., Jeri Sunny, Washington, Pa., Ronald Sunny, Swanton, Maryland, and James Sunny, Atlanta, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
A Prayer Service will be held Monday, June 10, at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, Pa., with Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.
