Debra Smith of Vestaburg told state police that between Tuesday and Saturday a water meter wire and a phone line at her residence were cut.

Underage drinking
State police said two male juveniles were charged with underage drinking after they were discovered by officers at Welsh Hill at Fish Pot Road at 3:50 a.m. Saturday.

DUI accident
Scott Allen Smith, 22, of Grindstone was arrested by state police for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after he failed to negotiate a curve on East Riverside Drive at 3:45 a.m. Saturday. Police said that Smith suffered a minor hand injury in the accident.

Lawn items taken
Leslie Baxter, 55, of Mount Pleasant told state police Saturday that a number of lawn related items were taken in three separate incidents beginning in March. Reported as taken were a red moving dolly, a lawn angel and a plastic flower pot with flower.

Car stolen
Rebecca Lynn Anderson of Roscoe told state police that between 5 p.m. and midnight Wednesday her Chevrolet Cavalier was taken from her Furlong Avenue residence.

Hit-and-run
State police said an unknown driver operating a 1988 Dodge sedan was traveling north on Route 51 when the vehicle left the road and struck a grass embankment on Saturday.

Simple assault
Deborah Bunting of Connellsville told state police that a Connellsville man grabbed her by the hair and drug her in her home during a dispute at 8:45 p.m. June 2.

Vehicle damaged
Patti Eileen Kahl, 64, of McClellandtown told state police that between 10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday the hood and windshield of her 1998 Dodge Dakota were damaged.

Criminal mischief
Michael and Terry Schaffer of Hopwood told state police that at 1:30 a.m. Friday windows on there home were broken and eggs thrown while neighbor Ralph Gerald Rugg told police that the antennas on both of his vehicles were snapped and his residence was egged as well.

Two cited
Ann Marie Sickles of Lemont Furnace and Kerry Allan Teets of Uniontown were cited by state police following an altercation on Main Street, Lemont Furnace, at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Sickles was cited for criminal mischief and Teets was cited with harassment.

Man charged
State police said Michael Edwards Metros, 60, of Uniontown was arraigned on charges of simple assault and lodged in the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond after he allegedly grabbed his sister Margaret L. Esposito, 67, of Corapolis by the neck and choked her before allegedly pulling a revolver and threatening to kill her at 1016 West Penn Blvd. at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

Hit-and-run
Sharon A. Sebek, 47, of Greensboro told state police her vehicle was struck by a school desk that fell from a Ford 150 loaded with desks on Route 88 at 11 a.m. Friday. Police said that the desk struck the hood of Sebek’s 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis then went through the windshield. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call state police at Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.

Theft
William L. Kovach, 42, of Greensboro told state police that between 6 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday the following items were taken from the west side of Route 88 just south of Route 21: a John Deere turf gator utility vehicle, a John Deere 650 two wheeled drive riding mower with five-foot deck, two Craftsman toolboxes with various small hand tools, one Craftsman 18-inch chainsaw and one Homelite 21-inch chainsaw.

Truck scratched
Thomas Randal Gooden, 41, of Waynesburg told state police that between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 p.m. Friday that his 1992 Chevrolet truck was scratched causing $1,500 in damages.
