Paul William Elliott, 75, of New Salem, Pa., died Saturday, June 8, 2002, in Veterans Administration Hospital, Aspinwall, Pa. He was born August 8, 1926, in Mount Pleasant, Pa., son of the late William Elliott and Jessie Stoner Elliott Hughes.

Mr. Elliott was a Veteran of World War II who served in the United States Army and member of General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood, Pa.

He was formerly employed by Reliable Transfer Company, Uniontown, Pa., and later was a Warehouse Manager for Columbia Van Lines of Alexandria, Virginia.

Surviving are his former wife, Dolores Olevenick Elliott of New Salem, Pa.; a son, Gerald William Elliott of Footedale, Pa.; a brother, Burl Elliott and his wife, Patricia, of Strongsville, Ohio; and a granddaughter, Ashley Lynn Elliott of Mount Pleasant, Pa.

Funeral Services will be private and are under direction of the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa.

Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Uniontown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
