Leona Hilliard Miller
Leona G. Hilliard Miller, age 78, of Grindstone, Pa., died Sunday, June 9, 2002, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on December 21, 1923, daughter of Leon Hilliard and Ruth Bowden Hilliard.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Brownsville, Pa., and the Grindstone Ladies Auxiliary.
Her husband, Paul L. Miller, son, Joseph Ray Stahl, sisters, Frances Columbus and June Molenock, and parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by five children: William Stahl Sr., Dillsburg, Pa., Lois Morgan, Eighty Four, Pa., Jeanne Della Penna, Grindstone, Pa., Joanne Stimmell, Brownsville, Pa., and Donald Stahl, Star Junction, Pa.; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters: Sally Molenock, Uniontown, Pa., Evelyn Madison of Virginia, Eliza Terry of Florida, and Rhoda Smiley, Ellwood City, Pa.; and a brother, John Hilliard, Fairchance, Pa.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 12, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. J. W. Hormell officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
Visitation was also held Monday from 6 to 9 p.m.
