Heleny “Greta” Hughes
Heleny “Greta” Hughes, 85, of Brownsville, Pa., died Monday, June 10, 2002, in Laurel Ridge Center, Uniontown, Pa. She was born on October 30, 1916, in Sweden.
She was a member of Braznell Alliance Church.
She served with her husband in Ministry in Columbia, South America, for 15 years and in West Brownsville, Pa., and Braznell, Pa., for 35 years.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Carl Hughes; and two children: Allen Hughes and his wife, Patricia Ann, Curwensville, Pa., and Beverly Hughes, Centerville, Pa.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. George Grimes and the Rev. Hiriam Westover officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, Pa.
