Wallet stolen

State police in Uniontown said Jajuan David, 20, of Uniontown reported that his wallet containing $300 was stolen Tuesday afternoon from the YMCA gym where he left it unattended.

Concession stand burglary

State police in Belle Vernon said $16 worth of food items were stolen from Smock Little League’s concession stand at the Smock ball field during a break in sometime between Sunday and Tuesday. The door to the stand was damaged.

State police in Belle Vernon said Scott Verbus of Masontown was not injured Sunday night when he struck a deer on Route 51.

Truck burned

A truck owned by Steve’s Construction of Smithfield was taken from the Locker Room Lounge lot to a remote area in Ronco and set on fire overnight Saturday, according to state police in Uniontown.

Gas stolen

Somebody left BFS Foods on Route 119 without paying for $14.81 in gas at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday, state police in Uniontown said.

Abduction attempted

State police in Uniontown said a man driving a brown 1970s full-size sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Caprice, attempted to grab a known adult woman and pull her into his car along Hampton Road Tuesday between 2:20 and 4:45 p.m. The woman, who police did not identify, escaped.

Car stolen

A gray 1996 Mercury Sable was reported stolen from Lemon Wood Acres on Sunday by Darryl Lee Haynes, 38, of Arlington Heights, Ill., state police in Uniontown said.

Fireworks stolen

Cases of fireworks were stolen during a break-in at the Keystone Fireworks on High Street Extension between 10 p.m. Monday and 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, state police in Uniontown said. Anybody with information about the burglary is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.

South Union Twp.

Theft reported

State police in Uniontown said somebody broke a window and took a compact disc player from a car owned by Robin Murray of Leckrone between Saturday and Monday when it was parked on the Walnut Hill exit off Route 119 south.

Motorcycle stolen

State police in Uniontown said a motorcycle reported stolen last week by Donald Alston, 47, of McClellandtown, has been recovered.

Woman arrested

State police in Uniontown arrested Nicole Marie Linville, 23, of Smithfield on theft charges for allegedly stealing a car and $25 from Elmer Lawrence Moreland, 72, of Smithfield on Sunday night. The theft occurred along Outcrop Road. Linville was arraigned by District Justice Randy S. Abraham and committed to the Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $25,000 percentage bond.

A plastic log cabin and a swing set owned by Victoria Jeffries was taken from 41 Hazel St. between Sunday and Tuesday, state police in Uniontown said.

Rifles stolen

State police in Uniontown said three rifles valued at $2,175 were reported stolen during a break-in at the Breakneck Road home of Kevin Stouffer of Scottdale between 4 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday.

Chain saw stolen

State police in Uniontown said Ronald Bowers of Mill Run reported the theft of a Husqvarna chain saw from his pick up truck overnight Sunday along Mountain Road.

City police said two windows on Donald Lynch Sr.’s apartment at 59 Lenox St. were broken at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday.

Home ransacked

City police said Tabitha Lovall’s home at 60 Pershing Court was ransacked on June 7 and about 10 compact discs and some knives were stolen.

City police said two windows on the Koval Supply building at 258 Fayette St. were broken Tuesday night.

Criminal mischief

Police filed charges of criminal mischief against Robin Lynn Black, 35, of 603 W. Crawford Ave., after she allegedly poured a liquid substance on a vehicle owned by a Connellsville man on June 6. Police did not identify the alleged victim.

Disorderly conduct

Police filed charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness against Richard Kuzma, 22, of 603 W. Crawford Ave. after he was allegedly found in an intoxicated condition and yelling obscenities along West Crawford Avenue on June 7.

Burglary

Blaine and Rosetta Frazee of Flat Rock Road told state police at 1:30 p.m. that two unknown people entered their home while they were sleeping and removed an unknown amount of cash and jewelry Wednesday. The suspects are described as having dark complexions and hair, possibly of Arab or Hispanic descent and are believed to have been operating a blue van. Anyone with information is asked to call trooper James A. Pierce at 724-439-7111.

Burglary

Mary Ann Polink of Uniontown told state police that between noon and 12:20 p.m. two men claiming to be from the electric company entered her residence and claimed to need to check wires. Police said that Polink remained with the one while the other searched the residence but nothing appeared to have been taken. The two suspects are described as possibly Hispanic males standing about 5-feet 4-inches tall, heavy set, weighing approximately 180 pounds with short cut black hair wearing blue jeans and gray shirts and were last seen in a light blue van, registration unknown.

Accident

State police said no injuries were reported when vehicles operated by Elliot A. Branch, 40, of Massilon, Oh., and Robert Belch, 39, of McClellandtown collided on a curve in Lambert Road at 2:10 p.m. Monday.

Accident with injury

State police said a minor injury was reported when vehicles operated by Daniel Ford of Strongstown and Donna McClain of Lake Lynn collided on Route 119 in Smithfield Borough at 3:45 p.m. McClain suffered a minor injury in the accident.

Somerset Twp.

Two-vehicle accident

State police said both Amanda Walters, 16, of Fredericktown and Jillian Blackburn, 18, of Scenery Hill suffered injuries when their vehicles collided on Route 917 at Hickory Street at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday.
