Anthony Crane rallies past Mill Run Girls softball
Fredericktown 9, South Fayette 2 – Chelsea Stotka pitched six strong innings and Tammy Pendland went 2-for-3 with a triple and a run scored as Fredericktown routed host South Fayette in Greater Pittsburgh Fast-Pitch Softball League action.
Lesley Kurjanowicz and Michelle Diethorn had two hits and two runs apiece for Frank Mazeppa’s squad (2-0), which features mostly Beth-Center High School players. Breanne Paletta and Kristi Mazzaferri each went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
Fredericktown, which won its opener over Robinson (Montour High School), travels to Washington to play Twist (Washington High School) on Tuesday.
