Hopwood Imaginary Friends opens
Imaginary Friends Child’s Party Entertainment offers affordable, instructional and creative party entertainment year round for children age four to 12.
It features interactive party games, face painting/tattoos, characters such as clown, Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus, all for birthdays, picnics, slumber parties or other children’s events.
A variety of theme parties are also available including Around the World, which deals with cultural celebrations, Be A Good Sport, Can You Dig It dinosaur activities, Go for the Gold Olympic games, Handy Dandy Puppet Show, Mother Goose Storytime, Movie Star Makeover, Original Artworks crafts, Step Right Up carnival games and a Teddy Bear Tea Party.
Holiday themed parties include Fall/Oktoberfest, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter.
Owned and operated by Cathy Stefancin of Hopwood, Imaginary Friends focuses on safe, interactive play to stimulate children’s imaginations.
Activities focus less on costumed performances and more on teaching children skills to stimulate their imaginations.

Andrascik promoted
Brenda (Severini) Andrascik RN, MS of Scenery Hill has recently been promoted to vice president of Favorite Nurses/Favorite Temps. With over 70 offices in 42 states, Favorite Nurses is the largest privately owned supplemental staffing company in the country.
Andrascik began her career as the branch director of the Pittsburgh office in 1990 and most recently held the position of senior regional manager. Andrascik is a graduate of Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing and Penn State University.

MEDMART opens
MEDMART Pharmacy LLC announced it will open a new pharmacy in the Laurel Mall Shop ‘n Save supermarket. The store plans to open the end of June. “This pharmacy will provide fast and convenient prescription service for time-pressed shoppers,’ Jim Capuzzi, pharmacist-owner, said. The pharmacy will be located at the left-front of the supermarket. Customer will also be able to earn S&H Greenpoints with new, transferred and refill prescriptions. The pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. This is the second location of MEDMART Pharmacy in Fayette County. It operates one at Chat-a-Who-chee Square on Route 119 in Bullskin Township. Telephone number for the new pharmacy is 724-626-9600. MEDMART Pharmacy honors almost all insurance plans.
