Car damaged
City police said a tarp that was covering Nicholas Meyokovich’s vehicle, which was damaged from an unrelated accident, was set on fire causing additional damage. The victim said the incident occurred between Tuesday and Thursday when the vehicle was parked at 78 Rear Easy St.

Man cited
City police cited Greg Clark, 24, of 68 Lemon St., for driving without a license and improper transfer or use of registration after he was pulled over Friday at 3:50 a.m. on Lenox Street for having an expired registration sticker.

Driver fled
State police in Belle Vernon said the driver of a 1988 Pontiac Sunbird struck a sign off Route 166 at Republic Auto at 11 p.m. Wednesday, parked the car and then fled on foot. The incident is under investigation.

ATV stolen
Robert Bienoski, 40, of Third Street, reported the theft of a yellow Honda TRX 450 all-terrain vehicle from his shed Tuesday. State police in Belle Vernon are investigating the theft.

State police in Uniontown filed charges against a 17-year-old boy from Melcroft for allegedly taking property valued at $165 from a car owned by Jeremiah Wynkoop, 20, of Champion. The car was parked in the upper level of the Melcroft Trailer Park between May 7 and June 6 when the incident occurred.

Two cars wreck
James Edward Zeigler of Smithfield and Raymond Dillon of Smithfield were involved in a two-car accident at the intersection of New Geneva Road and Morris Buncic Road at 7:09 a.m. Thursday, state police in Uniontown said. Dillon and his passenger Erving Rice of Smithfield reported minor injuries.

State police in Uniontown said Emily Ann White of Indian Head was not injured when her vehicle struck a utility pole along Route 711 north Thursday.

Two cars collide
William E. McNight of Uniontown and Timothy Brashear of New Salem were involved in a two-car accident on Gallatin Avenue near the Sylvan Heights Cemetery Wednesday afternoon. Neither driver was injured, state police in Uniontown said.

Two-car accident
State police in Uniontown said Mary Johnson of Dunbar and Ferne Rafay of Uniontown were involved in a two-car accident on the northbound Route 119 ramp off of Route 40 Thursday. Rafay had two juvenile passengers, but no injuries were reported.

State police cited James Pitts, 19, of Uniontown with criminal mischief for allegedly kicking and damaging a car owned by Heidi Fielos, 20, of Uniontown.

State police in Uniontown said Joyce Dillow reported the theft of the stereo from her car at a bar Wednesday night.

State police in Uniontown said they recovered a Ford Ranger reported stolen by Phillip Skiles of Smithfield. It was recovered after it was destroyed in fire along a township road Wednesday at 4 a.m.

State police in Uniontown said a pick up truck owned by Robert Bernot Jr., 22, of Grindstone was moved from a parking lot at the Tub Run Campgrounds and a radio with a speaker was taken overnight Thursday.
